Staple recycling

Not as in recycling staples, but as in Staples Eco-Easy electronic recycling program.  Starre on Eco-Chick mentioned this fantastic program, which is only fantastic to me because Omaha is getting its own Staples store this year.  For $10, Staples will recycle any large piece of e-waste (computers, monitors, etc) and small items like cell phones are recycled for free!  Sorry, honey, no more throwing out your own calculators and PDAs…  Staples recycles the equipment through Amandi Inc, whose website doesn’t say much about their process, but appears to dismantle and safety recycle recovered materials within North America, instead of shipping e-waste overseas.
