Cackle, cackle

Happy Halloween!  Fortunately most of the people at the particular military installation I work on have a good sense of humor, as I showed up for work today in costume.  Well, technically I’m wearing regular work clothes – black sweater, gray skirt and black boots – but the pointy witch’s hat with the sparkly spider web design is not exactly regulation.  J  So far, so good – I’ve had mainly positive remarks (“Love the hat!” “Oh, aren’t you cute?”) and the usual snide comments (“Where’s your costume?” “Witch!”), but nothing mean-spirited or disapproving…  that might be due to the fact that I’m also handing out free candy…
